Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Amani Aura ("Amani Aura," "we," "our," or "us"). This Shipping Policy ("Policy") sets out the terms on which we process, ship, and deliver orders placed through amaniaura.com (the "Site"). By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy, together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Return Policy.

1. Order Processing

All orders are reviewed and processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays observed at our fulfilment location) following successful payment authorisation and fraud screening. Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or after our daily cut-off time will begin processing on the next business day.

During peak trading periods, promotional events, product launches, or periods of exceptional demand, processing times may be extended. Where material delays are anticipated, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate this via our Site, by email, or on this page.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without liability, to: (a) decline, limit, cancel, or refund any order; (b) require additional verification or information before fulfilling an order; and (c) refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason. 

2. Shipping Destinations

We ship to most destinations worldwide. Available shipping methods, rates, and estimated transit times are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the delivery address you provide. If we are unable to ship to your address for any reason (including legal, regulatory, or logistical restrictions), we will cancel the affected order and issue a full refund of the amount charged.

3. Shipping Rates and Estimated Delivery Times

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight and dimensions, and the shipping method selected. All estimated transit times are provided by our carriers and are indicative only — they are not guaranteed and do not include order processing time.

Typical estimates once an order has been dispatched:

  • Domestic Standard: 3–7 business days
  • Domestic Express: 1–3 business days
  • International Standard: 7–21 business days
  • International Express: 3–10 business days

Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier operations, customs clearance, remote delivery areas, weather, public holidays, and other factors outside our reasonable control. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

4. Order Confirmation and Tracking

You will receive an order confirmation email shortly after placing your order. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send a separate shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and link where available.

Please allow up to 48 hours after dispatch for tracking information to appear in the carrier's system. If you have not received a shipping confirmation within 5 business days of placing your order, please contact us at amani@amaniaura.com.

5. Risk of Loss and Transfer of Title

Title to, and risk of loss or damage in, all products purchased from us passes to you at the point the products are handed to the carrier for delivery. From that point, the carrier acts as your agent for the purpose of transporting the goods. This clause does not affect any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Customs, Duties, Import Taxes, and Restrictions

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, handling fees, brokerage charges, or other levies imposed by the destination country. Unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout (for example, a Delivered Duty Paid option), these charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.

Amani Aura has no control over these fees and cannot predict or estimate their amount. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information prior to ordering. You are responsible for ensuring that the products you order comply with the import laws and regulations of your country. We are not liable for any products seized, delayed, destroyed, or returned by customs authorities.

If a package is refused, abandoned, or returned to us due to unpaid customs fees or non-compliance with local import rules, any refund issued will be subject to Section 10 (Returned and Undeliverable Packages).

7. Shipping Address Accuracy

You are solely responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and current delivery address at checkout, including any apartment, unit, building, or access information required for successful delivery. Please review your address carefully before completing your order.

If you identify an error in your shipping address, contact us immediately at amani@amaniaura.com. We will make reasonable efforts to update your order prior to dispatch, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered processing or been handed to the carrier.

Amani Aura is not responsible for orders delivered to, lost at, or returned from an address that was entered incorrectly, incompletely, or outdated at the time of purchase. Any reshipment required as a result will be at the customer's expense.

8. Shipping Delays and Force Majeure

Whilst we work to ensure timely dispatch, Amani Aura is not liable for delays, failures, or non-performance in shipping caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, earthquake; epidemic, pandemic, or public health emergency; war, terrorism, civil unrest, or government action; embargoes, sanctions, or changes in law; strikes, lockouts, or other industrial action; utility, telecommunications, or internet outages; carrier delays, capacity issues, or service disruptions; customs or border delays; and supply chain disruptions ("Force Majeure Events").

Published transit times do not constitute a guarantee of delivery by any particular date. If a Force Majeure Event continues for more than 30 days, either party may cancel the unfulfilled portion of the order; in such case, we will refund amounts paid for the affected undelivered items.

9. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

9.1 Lost in transit. If carrier tracking shows no progress for an extended period (typically 10 or more business days domestically, or 30 or more calendar days internationally, measured from the last tracking update), please contact us at amani@amaniaura.com. We will open an investigation with the carrier. Replacements or refunds may be issued, at our discretion, once the carrier has formally confirmed the package as lost.

9.2 Marked delivered but not received. If a package is marked delivered by the carrier but you have not received it, please: (a) check with other members of your household, neighbours, building reception, and your local post office or parcel locker; (b) file a report with the shipping carrier; and (c) where appropriate, file a report with local authorities. We will assist in liaising with the carrier where reasonably possible. However, once a package is confirmed delivered to the address provided at checkout, Amani Aura is not responsible for theft, loss, or misdelivery at or after the delivery point.

9.3 Damaged in transit. If your order arrives visibly damaged, please retain all packaging and contact us at amani@amaniaura.com within 7 calendar days of delivery, including clear photographs of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and the damaged product(s). Once the damage is verified, we will arrange, at our option, a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with applicable law.

9.4 Claims cooperation. You agree to cooperate reasonably with Amani Aura and the carrier in the investigation and resolution of any lost, stolen, or damaged shipment, including by providing photographs, written statements, and supporting documentation within the timeframes set out above.

10. Returned and Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable — for example, due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal by the recipient, failure to collect from the carrier or pick-up point within the carrier's holding period, or failure to pay applicable customs charges — we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.

You may elect, at your cost, to have the package reshipped, or to receive a refund of the product value only. Original shipping charges, return-to-sender fees charged by the carrier, and any customs, duties, or storage charges incurred are non-refundable and may be deducted from any refund issued. If we are unable to reach you within 14 calendar days of the package being returned to us, we may, at our discretion, refund the product value less the foregoing costs, or treat the order as abandoned.

11. Order Changes and Cancellations

Once an order has been submitted, we are unable to guarantee that changes or cancellations can be accommodated. If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us at amani@amaniaura.com as soon as possible. Requests received before an order has entered processing will be accommodated where reasonably practicable. We are generally unable to modify or cancel orders that have already been picked, packed, or handed to the carrier.

This Section does not limit any statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, which are addressed in our Return Policy.

12. Split Shipments and Partial Deliveries

Orders containing multiple items may, at our discretion, be dispatched in more than one shipment, from more than one location, or on more than one date, in order to deliver available stock to you as quickly as possible. You will not be charged additional shipping fees where we elect to split a shipment for our operational convenience.

13. P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, and Restricted Addresses

Certain carriers and shipping methods do not deliver to P.O. Boxes, parcel lockers, freight forwarders, military (APO/FPO/DPO) addresses, or certain remote regions. Where available, these options will be offered at checkout. We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders to addresses we are unable to service.

14. Returns and Exchanges

This Policy covers outbound shipping only. For information on returns, exchanges, refunds, and your statutory rights, please refer to our Return Policy. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except where the return is due to our error, a defective product, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Amani Aura's total liability arising out of or in connection with any shipment under this Policy shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the affected products and the shipping charges applicable to that shipment. In no event shall Amani Aura be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of use, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, carriers, legal obligations, or operational requirements. The version in effect at the time you place your order will apply to that order. The "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was most recently revised.

17. Governing Law

This Policy forms part of your contract with Amani Aura and is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to that contract, as set out in our Terms of Service, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. This clause does not deprive consumers of the protection of mandatory laws of their country of residence.
